Virginia is divided by Eastern and Western regions. On even years, the Eastern Regional Big Game Trophy Show is held the 2nd weekend of September, followed by the Western Regional & State Big Game Trophy Show on the 4th weekend of September. On odd years, the Western Regional Big Game Trophy Show is held the 2nd weekend of September, followed by the Eastern Regional & State Big Game Trophy Show on the 4th weekend of September.
Cities and Counties (23 KB PDF) lists the cities and counties in each region while the East / West Map (141 KB PDF) shows the two regions on a state map.
